About Dani
Posted by dani on May 29 2008
Dani Clifton was born and raised deep in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Her youth was spent wandering the mountainside with a dog at her side and an adventure to be had. Whether fishing, riding bareback through the woods in search of D.B. Coopers stolen loot or tracking the elusive Big Foot, a running commentary filled her young mind every step of the way. After being expelled from Sunday school for keeping the faith outside of the box and suffering repeated scoldings for daydreaming, Dani decided that she was a rebel at heart. And that wasn’t such a bad thing to be…
The writer creates the world she lives in. Or perhaps the world becomes a creation of the writer. As a collector of thoughts and wielding an imagination that knew no limits, Dani began to see a story in everything. Her world is never, ever boring. Or slow. When all else fails, follow the voices in your head…
A former staff writer of political satire for Redress Press during the Bush administration and contributor to various other alternative publications, Dani is most recently published in the 2008 CLACKAMAS LITERARY REVIEW where she was discovered by Sobel Weber Associates in New York. She is also an active member of the Willamette Writers and Sisters in Crime.
All work is registered and copy protected by the Writers Guild of America, West.
